Charity is the Foundation of a purposeful life. Charity, makes much sense when it is shown to people who lack the ability to reciprocate the gesture to us. It’s in the light of this, we can understand one of Chief Dumo’s maxims which says, “we have it as a responsibility, to care for those who live in the shadows of life”.
In marking the 56th Birthday of one who can be described as a Gentle Giant, members of the Dumo Lulu-Briggs Youths Foundation, DYF23, visited and showed charity to the Home of the Elderly, Port Harcourt Childrens Home, Priesthood Orphanage, Remand Home, Home for Street Kids and the Cheshire Home, making donations of various food items and toiletries, as well as oiling the bond that has existed between these homes and the Foundation.
Respective heads of the various homes, thanked God for the life of DLB, and prayed for God’s continued guidance.
Happy Birthday our Dear Grand Patron.
